first get your ear bud/q-tip and cut the head off it just before the cotton goes on to the stick so it looks like this

then push the needle through the little plastic bit you have left from when you cut it:


now cock your gun:


and put the dart down the barrel (muzzel load it)

then shoot it at some thing


and it will get stuck in
also try it with a fish hook instead of the needle
