Firstly, there are many ways a vending machine can be ripped off, i will take you through some of my most favourite methods, please note, this is not a copy and paste, although some information on this egg may have been repeated elsewhere as the tricks are sometimes very common.

1. The free lunch

This works on vending machines that are in a leisure centre or other place that has people to open them up. For this trick you must walk over to the vending machines, pretend to use it and then walk up to reception/front desk ect, tell them that the machine has taken your money and wont give you a drink or that the machine got stuck and the thing isnt coming out. They will usually ask how much you put in and i usually say 1 quid. They will open up the machine and get you what you wanted or you can ask for your money back out of the machine.



2. The never-ending story

This particular trick is used on the machines where you put your coin into a slot and turn the handle. These machines work by having a \’hole\’ at the bottom for the coin to fall out of, just after having pushed back a small \’pin\’ which releases the food, this pin also stops the handle from going round if there is no coin. how do we solve this ?. We get a coin and put quick setting supperglue on it and place it into the slot you wait for 1 minute and then get a carrier bag out, keep turning the handle until all the sweets have fallen into the plastic bags. Then it is probably in your best interest to run like hell.



3. saltwater blues

This method will work on any electrical vending machine, Find one in a remote area and pour saltwater into the change slot, this will cause the machine short circuit and spew out either change or drink and sometimes even both, but it is relatively easy to get caught doing this becuase of the annoying fact that if something starts to spew out money then people tend to notice quite fast.



4. burn baby burn

This is the very popular methos of finding any vending machine and shoving paper up the coin return slot. Get tissue to do this with as i find it works very well and is easy to stuff it up into the machines, stick it so far up the machines no one could easily just pull it out, also make sure there is enough paper up there to stop alot of coins. after doing this leave it for a couple of days up to a week to let the change mount up, then take a zippo lighter and put the flame up full, put it up the coin return slot until the paper catches aflame and then leave until the change starts popping down, this is a great one and has worked very a many time for myself.
