Hi today i will be showing you how to use a tool called TweakUI.

This is good if you have a slow computer or just want it a bit faster and easier for you.
I am going to show you how to make your programs (MSN,Antivirus,Yahoo,AOL,etc...) load before you even login all you will have to do is turn on the computer power and it will load, so when you actually login it is all there ready for you.

Now on to the egg!

There will be pictures but they will come later here is the real simple stuff first.

Firstly
Right then first off we need to download TweakUI

This file is SAFE to download. If you want to check the site before downloading then go HERE

Save that program to your desktop for now or somwhere else where it will be easy for you to find.

Installing the software (Pics!)

There is the file we want to run.

-----------------------------------------------------

You will be brought to this simply click next.

-----------------------------------------------------

Accept the terms and conditions and click next.

-----------------------------------------------------
When it has finished installing just click on finish.

Now that is the installation finished!

Running the program

As the picture above shows go to "Start"->"All programs"->"Powertoys for windows XP"->"Tweak UI"

When you have done that you will see this:

Here what you need to do is:

Double click on "logon" then click on "Autologon".
Highly the box that says "Logon automatically at system startup.
Select your username and click on "Set Password".
Now all you have to do is type in your password and again in the confirm password section.
Then click on "Ok"

*!*I know it says that it will automatically log you on BUT it will NOT! The rest of the egg will show you how to stop that very simply.*!*

To finish that part off:

Just click on "Apply" and then "Ok" that will close down that little program.

Making it so it will NOT log you in

All we need to do now is change the Registry file so that it will NOT log you in. I know it may sound dumb that we are doing auto login and then stopping it from loging in. BUT by doing this we can have all the programs and explorer.exe run BEFORE we login.

So what we can do is turn on our computer in the morning or whenever walk off get a drink or have a piss somtihng like that come back type your password and there it all is already loaded.

There is no need to turn on your computer and then sit there until the login screen pops up then to type in your password and then wait until your computer loads.

The registry file

This registry file will simply change it so that it will not log us in but will have the programs run for us.

Download the registry file HERE

Download the Registry file and save it to somwhere where it will be easy to find.
When you have done that the file to run will be called "lock_on_startup" as shown below.

It will now ask you if you are sure you want to run this registry file:

Click on "Yes"

(This will merge the file into the registry)

When you have done that a box should pop up saying that it has been done:

Click on "Ok" to close this box.

That is everything you need to do.

Manually enter the registry file
*!* If you do not wish to download the registry file then you can enter it manually as follows.*!*

Go to Start -> Run and type in "regedit" and press OK.

Now look for
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Run]

When you have found that create a new string value and name it "Lock Computer on Startup"

Set the value to "rundll32.exe user32.dll, LockWorkStation"

{u] And now you are done [/u]

When you restart/turn on your computer it will log you into your desktop and load everything for you but to make your computer secure it will also ask you for a password so when you want to use your computer just enter the password and everything is already loaded for you.

Thank you for reading my egg. I hope it helps you as it has done to me.

Thanks again please take the time to comment on what you thought was good/bad.
